Enrollments
Enrollment Requirements
For the health and safety of all our pet kids and staff, we require all customers comply with the following Enrollment Requirements:
- All dogs must be 10 weeks of age or older and have had their 2nd distemper/parvo boosters.
- All dogs that enjoy daycare activities in a ‘pack’ environment must be spayed or neutered. If you'd like your dog to attend our daycare and they are not spayed or neutered, please call us.
- All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof that their dogs received DHLPP, Rabies, and Kennel Cough vaccinations. Specifically the vaccines required are Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, and Bordatella. These shots are more commonly referred to as DHLPP; 5 in 1 or 6 and 1 and could include or have the kennel cough vaccine as a separate inoculation. All dogs must also be on year round flea preventative.
- All dogs must be in good health. Owners will need to certify that their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill in the last 30 days. On admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other dogs. Dogs who have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.
- Dogs must be flea and tick free. All incoming dogs will be checked for parasites. If parasites are seen, then your dog will be bathed and charged. So please check for parasites before bringing your dog.
- All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective.
- It is recommended that all dogs be micro-chipped.

Dog Screening
Our screening process includes a personal interview with both dog and owner. An important purpose of this interview is to allow us to assess a dog’s temperament to determine whether that particular dog will enjoy attending daycare with us. As a service to dog owners, we will provide information about the dog’s temperament test even if the dog does not go on to enroll in our daycare program. During the first phase of the evaluation, we will discuss the dog’s history (previous owners, socialization, interactions with other dogs, etc.). In the second phase of the interview the dog will be introduced to other friendly dogs. During this time, we will monitor the dog’s body language and reactions during these interactions. If all goes well, the dog is accepted.
Dog Re-Assessment
Your dog's temperament assessment is valid for ninety (90) days from the date administered. Dogs need to attend the Pampered Pet Center at least once every 90 days to maintain the validity of the temperament assessment. This is necessary to retain daycare and extended daycare social skills and privileges. We require all dogs to be re-assessed if their temperament assessment is not valid.
